Handstand…a feat of unique ability, strength, timing, spirit and a little bit of spectacle. It personifies the essence of CGT winery founder, Ed O'Keefe Jr., in his uncommon life as well as ambition to establish northern Michigan’s first commercial winery. We pay homage to his passing in 2021 with this very special wine creation in his honor. Let’s raise a glass in tribute to a life well-lived.

We craft all of our Grand Traverse Select wines to pair well with the foods that wine lovers enjoy on their dinner tables. These wines are produced from premium 100% European Vinifera grapes grown on select vineyard sites under the harvest direction of our winemaker. These wines are specially produced and blended in our temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to express full flavor and style. The wines are produced in a non-vintage style and offer customers incredible quality and value.
