Blending Cabernet Dorsa, Blaufränkisch, Dornfelder, and Cabernet Franc, this wine offers a rounder, juicier profile than its Reserve counterparts. Grown in Michigan’s longer daylight and cooler fall temps, these varietals ripen slowly, yielding fruit with balanced sugar and acidity.

Pouring a deep garnet, the Ensemble opens with lush cherry, red currant, and sweet tobacco on the nose. The palate is supple and approachable, with soft tannins and a touch of cracked black pepper. A kiss of oak frames the wine’s bright fruit character, finishing smooth and lightly spiced.
