VIN GRIS ROSÉ
Our 2024 Vin Gris Rosé is a blend of Gamay Noir and Pinot Noir, grown in the sandy, glacial soils of Northern Michigan’s Old Mission Peninsula. These conditions, coupled with lake-moderated temperatures, provide an ideal balance of sugar and acidity for crafting a crisp, dry rosé. Unlike Provence rosé, which tends to lean floral and soft, this vintage offers more pronounced structure and tart red fruit.
In the glass, the wine shows a soft salmon hue. The nose bursts with tart cherry, fresh melon, and citrus zest. The palate is sleek, dry, and mouthwatering, with high-toned acidity and a subtle thread of vanilla from brief lees contact. It finishes on a whisper of saline minerality, ideal for sipping or pairing with fresh summer fare.
