We are proud to showcase this special 50th Anniversary Riesling Reserve to commemorate five decades of family winemaking at Chateau Grand Traverse.  Enjoy this special bottle along with great food and great friends and give an enthusiastic toast to the enduring legacy established by my father.  Riesling embodies our foundation, meticulously grown, harvested and crafted each year at our Old Mission Peninsula winery.  It’s been quite a journey with a lot of great memories made along the way.   As we look forward, let this wine stand as a proud testament to our 50-year passion.- -Eddie O’Keefe

The Wine

This exceptional Late Harvest Riesling wine abounds with dazzling fruit and crisp citrus flavors balanced with a naturally sweet finish. Aromas of honey and vanilla lead to a soft and creamy palate combined with plenty of tropical and stone fruit. Complement these refreshing, fruity notes with pineapple upside down cake or banana cream pie, or balance the flavors with a spicy shrimp curry or lemon-butter salmon.

Everything about this bottle was crafted by hand including bottling, corking, wax dipping, labeling, wax stamping and numbering.
